DSCN1896I am a Core Lecturer at Columbia University, where I completed my Ph.D. in Musicology in 2015. My interests are opera staging, Regieoper, Wagner Studies, and new music. I’m currently working on a book project on stagings of Wagner’s Ring cycle and afterlives of 1968 in divided Germany during the 1970s and 1980s. My research has been published by Musical Quarterly and Tempo, and I have received research grants from the Fulbright Program and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
