I’m a Core Lecturer at Columbia University, where I completed my Ph.D. in Musicology in 2015. My interests are contemporary opera and diversity, Regieoper, Wagner Studies, and new music. I’m currently working on a book project on stagings of Wagner’s Ring cycle and afterlives of 1968 in divided Germany. My research has been published by Musical Quarterly and Tempo, and I have received research grants from the Fulbright Program and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
